Sunfort Comes as a New Innovation for Modern Building Facades
Asahimas has officially launched Sunfort, its latest architectural glass designed to meet the growing demand for modern buildings that balance aesthetics, thermal comfort, and energy efficiency.
Sunfort is a solar control glass developed to help reduce solar heat gain entering the building while maintaining a clean, neutral, and modern facade appearance. With its low reflective characteristics, it supports minimalist architectural designs while ensuring visual comfort from both exterior and interior perspectives.
In terms of energy performance, Sunfort delivers enhanced shading performance, effectively controlling solar heat gain (with a Solar Factor of 27% and a Shading Coefficient of 0.31). This helps reduce cooling loads in buildings, supporting better energy efficiency, especially in tropical climates.

The product is also engineered with optimised insulation, featuring a U-Value of 4.2, which helps reduce heat transfer from outside to inside. As a result, indoor temperatures remain more stable, improving overall thermal comfort throughout the day.
For natural daylighting, Sunfort offers neutral aesthetics with low glare, providing balanced light transmission with low external and internal reflection. This ensures sufficient natural light penetration while minimizing glare, creating brighter yet comfortable indoor environments.
Designed to enhance façade performance, Sunfort significantly contributes to achieving OTTV requirement through optimized solar control when integrated within a well-designed building envelope.

With its combination of strong solar control performance, optimized insulation, and modern aesthetic quality, Sunfort represents Asahimas’ latest innovation in supporting energy-efficient and sustainable facade solutions for contemporary architecture.
