AGC Glass Asia Pacific Received First EPD

Environment is one of the four fundamental values of the AGC Group, transmitting that every entity and every employee shall contribute to the creation of a sustainable society in harmony with nature. As a part of this approach, AGC Glass Asia Pacific targets sustainable development using the best available technologies and constantly working to reduce our impact on the environment.

On 11 October 2022, AGC announced that it has its first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for float glass manufactured at its two Asian plants, PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk (Indonesia) and AGC Flat Glass (Thailand) Plc. This is the first EPD attained by the AGC Group for architectural glass manufactured in the Asia Pacific region.

The EPD is available on Sustainable Management Promotion Organization’s (SuMPO) Japan EPD Program website.
